Celebrating 25 Years of Dedication: Congratulations to Adam Lane

At CSTK St. Louis, milestones like this are about more than years on a calendar. They’re about people, relationships, and the legacy built through hard work and dedication. CSTK is proud to celebrate Adam Lane and his incredible 25-year anniversary with the company.

For Adam, the transport refrigeration industry has always been more than just a career. It’s family tradition.

Adam followed in the footsteps of both his father and grandfather, continuing a family legacy deeply rooted in the Thermo King and transport refrigeration business. His grandfather, Thomas Allen Lane, spent 50 years in the industry, while his father, Allen Lane, dedicated 40 years to the business and served as both a CSTK General Manager and Vice President. Long before Adam officially joined CSTK, the business was already a major part of his life.

Growing up, Adam spent his summers working alongside his family, helping break down Thermo King pallets and learning the business from the ground up. Those early experiences helped shape the work ethic and hands-on mentality that have defined his career ever since.

Over the past 25 years, Adam has built an impressive career across multiple CSTK locations, including Kansas City, St. Louis, and Bethlehem. Along the way, he has worn many hats and gained experience in nearly every corner of the business. From parts delivery driver to working the parts counter, serving as a warehouse supervisor, and now excelling as a Thermo King sales representative, Adam’s journey is a reflection of commitment, adaptability, and a deep understanding of the industry.

That broad experience has given Adam a unique perspective on both the company and the customers CSTK serves every day. It has also allowed him to witness firsthand how dramatically technology has transformed the Thermo King product line over the years.

“When I first started, the technology was completely different from what it is today,” Adam shared. “The industry keeps evolving, and technology is only going to become more important moving forward.”

As transport refrigeration continues advancing with smarter systems, telematics, emissions technology, and increased connectivity, Adam believes the future of the industry will depend heavily on innovation — something he’s excited to continue being a part of.

But despite all the technological changes over the years, Adam says his favorite part of working at CSTK has remained the same: the people.

“It’s a tight-knit group,” Adam said. “That’s what makes CSTK special.”

That sense of family and teamwork has clearly been a major part of Adam’s 25-year journey. Whether helping customers, supporting coworkers, or representing CSTK in the field, Adam has earned the respect and appreciation of everyone around him through his reliability, experience, and positive attitude.

Employees like Adam are a major reason CSTK continues to grow and succeed generation after generation. His dedication to the company, the customers, and the industry reflects the values that have always defined CSTK.
