Congratulations to Aaron Hunt for Making the Thermo King Top Tech Finals!
CSTK East is thrilled to recognize Aaron Hunt, one of our talented technicians, who recently earned at least a top-three finish in the highly competitive Thermo King Top Tech competition! This incredible achievement speaks volumes about Aaron’s dedication and expertise. As part of his recognition, Aaron has won a trip to the 2025 Thermo King dealer meeting in San Antonio, where the final results will be announced. Join us in congratulating Aaron on this outstanding accomplishment and in celebrating his journey to success!
“The Thermo King Top competition is pretty stressful, but it’s a lot of fun, as well,” says Aaron. “It’s an in-person competition, so everyone is there watching. I just try to have fun with it and do the best I can. It’s awesome representing CSTK and being recognized as one of the top 3 techs in the country. We will see what happens in San Antonio!”
This actually makes back-to-back years that Aaron has finished tops in the contest, coming in as a top 10 last year. With that kind of track record of success, you know Aaron has learned a thing or two about how to thrive in this industry.
“When I first started out as a technician 11 years ago, I didn’t know how much information there was going to be to take in,” Aaron explains. “The technology on these machines is really something. And it takes a lot of learning on the job too. You just work hard, do another new job, do another new job, and you don’t realize just how much new stuff you are learning. But after a while, you get pretty good at knowing what you are doing.”

“I tell our new guys all the time, this a great industry to be in and a great career to have,” Aaron says. “There’s always a demand for refrigeration technicians. The pay is good. The work is interesting. And as long as you are willing to learn, do the work, and communicate with others, you’ll do great!”
