CSTK St. Louis and CSTK Kansas City Make a Difference
In the spirit of giving and in order to support our local communities, CSTK St. Louis and CSTK Kansas City recently held employee Community Outreach luncheon events. The mission? To have a good time with friends and co-workers while collecting food for those facing food shortages. Our team brought in canned foods, cereals, hamburger helper, and other food items for donation, and CSTK provided pizza for everyone. We are proud to say, between the two locations, we were able to donate boxes and boxes of goods to Cross-Lines and Operation Food Search, two well-respected charity organizations based in Kansas City and St. Louis respectively.
“The response was overwhelming,” says CSTK St. Louis and KC General Manager Dave Burns. “I’m really proud of our team and what we were able to accomplish. Everyone was excited to help out. It’s a testament to the type of caring and community-oriented people we have at CSTK.”

Cross-Lines Community Outreach, Inc., one of the the beneficiaries of this Food Drive, is a lifeline for many Kansas City, KS residents facing economic hardships. With a mission to provide vital services such as housing stabilization, hunger relief and supplemental programs to ensure the dignity and respect of the individuals and families in our community by addressing their basic needs. By partnering with this respected organization, CSTK Kansas City aimed to provide a glimmer of hope to local families during what can be a challenging time of year.
“I’ve worked with Cross-Lines for many years,” says Dinie Sanders, Administrative Manager for CSTK KC. “They’re two blocks from us and the things done for our Wyandotte County neighbors are an amazing gift to anyone who wants to be involved in being of service. Everyone at CSTK is grateful for the chance to help Cross-Lines make a difference in the lives of people in our community.”
