Michael Bilka’s recent experience with our Bethlehem office is just one example of our dedication to meeting your needs.
For the past ten years, Michael has been a contracted owner-operator, driving his truck and running routes along the East coast and across the country. And while his old 1st generation Thermo King APU served him well in the past, eventually it began experiencing difficulties. His wife convinced him to let the professionals try and see if they could get it running again.
“I brought it into the CSTK Bethlehem location. The technician there was absolutely incredible,” Mike explains. “He worked on it for seven hours trying to get it going again. Everyone in the shop came by to try and help, even the shop foreman. And I know they were working on it the whole time because I was there with them! I couldn’t believe it. They actually gave a crap. You don’t get that anymore.”
Eventually it was decided that Mike’s old warhorse unit would need to be replaced with a new Thermo King APU unit – the cost to fix the old one meant it made more sense just to get a new one. But initially, Mike was concerned that the custom ventilation work his rig required might take too long.
“As the saying goes, if my wheels ain’t turning, I ain’t earning. But CSTK really worked with me and I never had a problem. I dropped it off, went on a short vacation with my wife, and returned to my newly installed TK APU. And let me tell you, the thing is awesome. I recently went on a delivery down south where it was HOT. I had to call my wife and tell her it was actually cold in the cab. I can’t recommend CSTK enough. From the technicians, to the foreman, to the sales people, everyone in the organization was incredible. Thank you CSTK, and thank you Thermo King!”
