CSTK St. Louis had a big celebration on May 17th. ???Thermo King Mike’ has been in the industry for almost 53 years and will be retiring this spring. Mike has had a long history with Thermo King dating back to 1964 when he started working at the very first Thermo King dealership in the St. Louis area, National Auto. He started out in an entry level parts position and has moved from parts manager to sales manager, even doing some operations management for a time.

Mike has been a valuable employee with CSTK since the St. Louis dealership was purchased in 1994. The company celebrated his retirement and career on May 17th, 2017 with an open house that brought in over one hundred friends and customers. There were food trucks, giveaways, and of course, a large Thermo King cake!

Mike started out at Thermo King during the days of using file cards as an inventory system. He’s seen the evolution of the ways the company has adapted to modern times and has thoroughly enjoyed every step along the way. When he retires, he plans to vacation and travel with his wife and work on classic cars in his hobby garage at home.
