CSTK Celebrates Driver Appreciation Week

Those of us in the transportation industry know just how important and demanding being a driver is. Those long days and countless miles away from home are what keep this country moving. But this year, Driver Appreciation Week feels different, even more important and meaningful. During this pandemic, when countless businesses shut their doors, the truck and delivery drivers of this country stood tall and kept the goods that every American depends on moving and available. CSTK has always been proud to be a resource for drivers, and we want to give an especially big THANK YOU to them this year.

“I think Covid really made it hit home for a lot of people just how dependent our food supply is on our drivers,” says CSTK East General Manager Jaime Cressman. “Earlier this year, when the economy was shut down, they were out on the roads with no where to eat, nowhere to charge up a phone, nowhere to go to the bathroom. But they all kept getting out there, making their deliveries, driving their routes. And everybody in this country was still able to get food from the grocery store. It was a fantastic thing our drivers did.”

To show our appreciation, CSTK would like to offer a free pair of official Thermo King driver gloves to any driver whose trailer we work on. Come by any of our locations while supplies last and pick them up. It’s just a small way for us to show our gratitude for what you do every day.
